About Us
Welcome to the University of Maryland Chicago Alumni Group page (aka Chicago Terps). Anyone who is living in Chicago and is an alumni of the University of Maryland or just loves the Terps can find out about sport viewing parties and other events and activities we plan. This is an open club that is based on creating a community based on the love of the University of Maryland Terrapin.
Activities and Events:
February 27th: Basketball watch (Maryland versus Virginia Tech): 3pm (CT) at Bird's Nest www.birdsnestbar.com
March 3rd: Basketball watch (Maryland versus Duke): 8pm (CT) at Bird's Nest www.birdsnestbar.com
March 6th: Basketball watch (Maryland versus Virginia): 12:30pm (CT) at Hidden Shamrock (hosted by UVA): http://www.thehiddenshamrock.com/ ** There will be a raffle during the game in support of the Alzheimers foundation
Tournament game watches will be held at www.birdsnestbar.com (schedule is not out yet)
March 15th: Chicago ACC Bowling Event: 6:30-9:30: Please check out Chicago ACC Bowling Event (sign up). We NEED a MARYLAND TEAM!!! PLEASE SIGN UP BY MARCH 4th!
